About the Role

The Change Coordinator will support the IT Change Practitioner in the IT PMO's Change Management initiatives ensuring smooth transitions to new processes, technology implementations and strategic projects across the business. This role works closely with Project Teams, Business Leaders and Stakeholders to drive adoption, manage communications and provide training and support due to adoption of new technology.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Utilise best practices to support business users in adopting new technology by creating documentation and change management plans to minimise business disruption and drive successful end user adoption
  • Execution of Change Management strategies and plans with the support of the IT Change Practitioner
  • Work collaboratively with project managers to assess the impact of the change, develop the project specific change management approach / strategy and the communication and training plans
  • Help design and execute communication plans to inform all relevant stakeholders about upcoming changes, progress and timelines
  • Engage IT Communications Consultant to support with creation of communication templates, and content development
  • Work closely with project working groups to identify learning needs / business readiness
  • Engage Learning and Development / IT Trainers to determine training requirements (e.g., materials required and training approach to be used), further supporting them in the delivery training plan
  • Support project managers by ensuring change management artefacts within Monday.com are kept up to date
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with project managers, project teams, project working group members / stakeholders, project sponsors to ensure the project change approaches / plans are effectively communicated in a timely manner, while liaising on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in the development, co-ordination and execution of change management approaches/strategies, in conjunction with the communication and training plans
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders (e.g., via Zoom polls, etc.) to measure impact of change activities, ensuring changes align with project objectives
  • Track adoption to determine gaps and develop reinforcement approach approaches as needed

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: 

  • Experience in a change management or similar coordination role
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Project management certification preferred
  • Experience supporting IT projects through user adoption of change preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills, working across multiple stakeholders (project managers, executives, and subject matter experts) and functions
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills including Visio experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment, with changing priorities
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Problem solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Experience working in a law firm or other professional service industry within a multi-disciplinary, virtual team across time zones preferred
