The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team as part of our financial services business in Grand Cayman.

 

The Cayman Islands is home to our global headquarters and where the Maples Group first established operations in the 1960s. Since then we have grown to become one of the largest employers in Cayman, where colleagues from all over the world collaborate to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our Cayman team you will:

 

  • providing suggestions for the development, implementation and enhancement of marketing initiatives that fit within the organisation's global marketing objectives;
  • developing and maintaining marketing collateral;
  • developing engaging content for marketing campaigns, internal newsletters, websites, social media and other marketing initiatives as required;
  • re-packaging technical content and thought leadership materials for distribution across multimedia platforms;
  • preparing creative briefs and working with in-house designers to fulfil creative requests;
  • developing and executing all digital campaigns including liaising with and managing external agencies;
  • preparing campaign performance reporting and suggesting changes to digital strategy as required;
  • delivering successful client events and seminars;
  • providing training and support to junior members of staff;
  • liaising with team members in other offices to ensure consistency and execution of all marketing and communications initiatives; and
  • carrying out any other duties which may from time to time be required.

 

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

 

The ideal candidate should:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 4+ years' experience in a professional services marketing role within the financial services industry is a prerequisite
  • have experience working with social media networks and reporting dashboards, Google Analytics, website CMS platforms, CRM and email marketing software products, and other marketing automation systems
  • be highly proficient in MS applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • have excellent copywriting and editing skills, oral and written communication skills
  • have the ability to work with all levels of senior management and staff
  • have ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

 

Key skills for this role are as follows:

 

  • attention to detail, professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and a team-first mentality
  • be a self-starter with the ability to handle a diverse workload
  • sound working knowledge of all Windows applications
  • experience with relationship management and client service
  • excellent time management, organizational, prioritization and communication skills, both verbal and written (fluent written and oral English).
