The Opportunity / Who We Seek 

We are looking for an accomplished Vice President – Trust Services to join our team as part of our financial services business in Bermuda. As part of our Bermuda team you will:  

  

  • be responsible for the day-to-day administration and review of client documentation, and ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal MTSB policies and procedures;
  • act as the primary trust administration contact for MTSB clients, and will have a clear reporting line to the Senior Vice President (“SVP”), who will provide secondary review oversight of the activities performed by the Bermuda VP;

  

What You Bring 

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: 

  

  • an experienced finance professional, with at least 7 years in the financial services industry;
  • a CFA designation, CPA or Law degree and possess a STEP qualification;
  • experience in trusts and investment funds;
  • experience in working for trust companies licensed and regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority;
  • experience in working with regulators in recognized jurisdictions;
  • experience in servicing clients;
  • experience in reviewing fund transaction documents;
  • experience in unit trusts, related investment funds and private wealth trusts;
  • experience in dealing with lawyers, investment managers, prime brokers, custodians, fund administrators;
  • experience in providing trustee and directorship services;
  • knowledge of governance and fiduciary principles, related Bermuda laws and regulatory requirements;
  • experience working with corporate partnership structures in a regulated business, including knowledge of the Companies Act 1981 would also be a definite asset
